Karri worked with over 200 school students in Goshen County on the World Wide Water Monitoring event on the North Platte River & Bear Creek.

On the 16th of October the LFLCD board held a outdoor classroom session with the 7th and 8th graders from Lingle. This day was a worldwide water monitoring day. Jack Pugsley and Donna Phipps–district supervisors-assisted with the program. The three Conservation District employees, Samantha Hattan Nancy Borton and Levi Knudsen were the presenters of the program. Our local representative, Matt Teeters, was present for our program with the school kids. The parameters that were monitored were PH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity and water temperature. The information that was gathered was put into a computer program and the data was published on the website: www.nationalwatermonitroingday.org. All who participated had a lot of fun.
